Manual ventilation mode

After intubation, users will squeeze a bag to ventilate lungs and immediately look at etCO2 trace to ensure that the intubation is successful. This is very hard to recreate a realistic experience by adjusting the RR on the fly. Can instructor toggle to a manual mode for RR…. A button would appear. When instructor presses this button the etC02 falls to zero, when they release the button it rises to the set value.

Manual Ventilation mode is now in Testing! You can access this mode on the latest update in TestFlight.

Toggle on Manual Ventilation mode and use the ‘hold to ventilate’ button on the instructor screen, to simulate bag mask ventilation.

Additionally, when using QCPR manikins in this mode, ventilations are linked automatically to ETCO2 trace and resp rate.

The app should record and use the respiratory rate of the Laerdal QCPR manikins to obtain exact ventilation parameters and thus display the respiratory rate and capnography only with actual ventilation

This would be even better if the ventilations of a QCPR device (which tracks ventilation) was automatically linked to the etCO2 curve/RR!

@Paul Trusch yes we agree, we are planning to do just that!
